Modular Cover Systems

Temperature stability, algae control and odor reduction are the main benefits of GTI’s modular cover systems.

GTI modular cover systems are a series of interconnected floating panels that combine to cover the water surface in a tank or lagoon. Individual cover modules consist of a layer of insulation encapsulated in a durable, UV protected membrane. GTI can work with owners to predict heat retention for the cover system selected and recommend an insulation thickness. Panel sizes can vary to suit operational and maintenance requirements.

The covers can be safely walked on without damaging the membranes or the insulation. The flexibility of the panels can allow for channels to be opened for accessing aerators, etc. The perimeter of the cover is designed to prevent movement or damage from wind.
